Where is raiden in outworld

Johnny Cage : I'm not worried. I bet you can win this thing no problem. Raiden : Unless directly challenged, I can not participate. Johnny Cage : What should we do, instead of standing around looking pretty?

Raiden : For now, the tournament must run it's course. Sonya Blade : Alright, then. We're with you, Raiden. Kung Lao : [after celebrating after his victories with the Outworld audience booing him] See Raiden, Earthrealm is fre Raiden : Kung Lao!

Liu Kang : No! Raiden : I will rip the flesh from your bones! Shao Kahn : Witless boy. Do you know who I am? Liu Kang : The murderer of my friend.

Shao Kahn : I am Shao Kahn! Conquorer of worlds! You will taste no victory. Liu Kang : You will taste your won blood. Liu Kang : On your feet! Shang Tsung : I can not believe. Earthrealm has won. Raiden : The Elder Gods have spoken. Earthrealm is free from Shao Kahn forever.

But the price of victory was almost too steep to pay. Kung Lao's death was my fault. I encouraged him. Our triumph was not meant to be achieved this way. Raiden : I see now "he must win" must refer to you. Raiden : It can not be. Shao Kahn is dead. But the future remains unchanged. Liu Kang appears] Back from the Netherralm empty-handed, I see. Raiden : Liu Kang! Raiden : Liu Kang, I now realize what we must do. We must allow Shao Kahn to merge the realms!

Liu Kang : That is insane! When he does, the Elder Gods' fury will fall upon him. Defeating Shao Kahn before the merge is but temporary. He will return, bringing Armageddon. I have foreseen it! Liu Kang : Enough, Raiden! Liu Kang : He is here. Edenia is the first of the major Mortal Kombat realms not featured in the reboot, but it plays a pretty big role in the video games.

The realm is a lush, beautiful world filled with greenery and life — or at least, it was before it was conquered by and merged with Outworld. By the events of the 10 th Mortal Kombat tournament the one alluded to in the film , Edenia has been a part of Outworld for thousands of years, and its former queen, Sindel, lives in a forced marriage to Shao Kahn. Eventually, after Shao Kahn is defeated, Edenia regains its autonomy and de-merges from Outworld, returning to its former glory.

Visually, Orderrealm resembles a futuristic alien world, filled with pyramidal structures and other stark architectural designs. Seitan characters in the games include the extremist leader Darrius, the mercenary Dairou, and the warrior Hotaru. The residents of the realm, called Chaosrealmers, worship the idea of chaos the center of their society. As a result of his divine nature, he possesses many supernatural abilities, such as the ability to teleport, control lightning, and fly.

He is also more prone to thinking in terms of eternity rather than normal human lifespans, and has a radically different outlook on life. Throughout the series, Raiden has served as a mentor and father figure to Earthrealm's champions, especially Liu Kang and Kung Lao. As Earthrealm's protector, he harbors an intense hatred for Shang Tsung , Shao Kahn , Shinnok , and anyone who would pose a threat to Earth.

His outlook on Earthrealm's protection drastically changes, where he lashes out at anyone he deems a threat to Earthrealm, even leading a full on invasion of the Netherrealm to destroy Shinnok's Bone Temple. When Kronika erases this incarnation of Raiden from the timeline as a result of his defeat of Shinnok and her merging the timelines, his past incarnation is left to learn of his corruption and stop Kronika's plans of restarting the timeline, vowing never to walk the path of his future self.

Although being formless and ethereal, Raiden often takes form on mortal planes. As such, he appears as a fully-grown man wearing predominately white robes and a blue vest, his face usually shadowed by a straw hat. The effect is enhanced by his glowing blue eyes that radiate with electricity and long white hair, befitting of his god-like status.

In Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance , one of his outfits is finished by a flowing blue cape. Lastly, his power is so great that he constantly radiates with lightning energy, electricity constantly dancing and crackling around his being. In Deception and Armageddon , his visage is warped by Onaga's malevolent aura when he sacrifices himself, reforming as a dark warrior dressed in black robes and dark armor, his eyes changed from a soothing blue to a belligerent red.

His cape was changed to a subdued red and appears tattered at the end. Due to the events of Mortal Kombat , this change was rendered null. However, he seems to return to this form in the post-credits scene of Mortal Kombat X , though now he wears Shinnok's Amulet. He has two primary character designs in the MK11 story, his Dark form from the end of the previous game, and his more traditional look albeit with some alterations.

Raiden is the god of thunder and lightning and, as such, he is immensely powerful and has complete control over electricity. Raiden's movements in combat are stated to be as fast as lightning in the Konquest Mode's lore in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. He can summon lightning bolts with a thought, project electricity from his hands that can paralyze, incapacitate, kill, or force an opponent's body to move wherever he chooses, create forcefields and blades made of electricity, summon electric orbs that act as shocking traps, use electricity in conjunction with telekinesis to move objects without physically touching them, form massive thunderstorms that shapes the weather and channel electricity through his limbs to strengthen his strikes.

He usually keeps behind the scenes in the games and rarely fights, although one notable exception was in Deception , where he fought both Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, and was able to hold his own for most of the fight.

Raiden has a plethora of other abilities that are not suited for combat such as creation of interrealm portals, project blinding light from his eyes, raise fallen beings from the dead, take flight and summoning objects such as ships as shown in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

Outworld boasts many powerful, fearsome races and deadly monsters. Small villages can be found scattered throughout the landscape and, much like Edenia , the realm teems with magic. However, aside from the cities of Lei Chen and Z'Unkahrah , no real metropolises have been seen in the series. Based on the few cities and villages that have been seen, both the architecture and material culture of Outworld bear strong similarities to East Asian and Middle Eastern cultures. It's often rumored amongst many Outworld inhabitants that Earthrealm's rice wine 'puts Outworld Wine to shame'.

Commuters also ride the Dragonfly , which is said to be the fastest form of transportation across the vast expanses of Outworld, aside from sorcery and actual dragons. There are many of these flying transports, each with its own set of destinations.

Due to Outworld's composite structure, not all races found on Outworld are truly native to it. In addition, many of Earthrealm's most wanted criminals have sought refuge in Outworld, most notably the Australian crime lord Kano. Outworld's history has been largely defined by its conquest and merger of other realms. This process appears to have started with Onaga —or possibly earlier rulers—but it greatly accelerated under the banner of Shao Kahn , who valued conquest of new realms over governance of the territories he already controlled.

The following are realms known to have been conquered and merged into Outworld, though it is likely that there are far more realms that have yet to be revealed.

Earthrealm's cities including New York City are merging with the civilization of Outworld during Shao Kahn's invasion.

Long millennia under the rule of a tyrannical emperor has put Outworld at odds with most other worlds and their inhabitants. The realms which have been merged with it over the years could be loosely called allies, only due to the fact their inhabitants were forced into submission to the emperor's might.
